If you are a referee

  • your contact details, including email address, mailing address and/or telephone number;

  • your role and employer;

  • your preferences and/or opinions;

  • details of our interactions with you; and

  • any other personal information requested by us and/or provided by you or a third party.

If you are a client

  • your name;

  • your contact details, including email address and/or telephone number;

  • your role and employer;

  • your preferences and/or opinions;

  • information you provide to us through surveys;

  • details of services we have provided to you and/or that you have enquired about, and our response to you; and

  • any other personal information requested by us and/or provided by you or a third party.

As a candidate, we may collect sensitive information about you as part of the process of matching you with a firm, whether from your resume or as otherwise provided to us by you. We will not collect sensitive information about you without first obtaining your consent.

Provided you consent, we will only use and disclose your sensitive information for purposes directly relating to the primary purpose for which the sensitive information was collected, such as to match you with a firm.

Sensitive information may also be used or disclosed if required or authorised by law.

Your rights and controlling your personal information

Your choice: Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you provide personal information to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect your use of our Services.

If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else (for example, a candidate providing personal information about a referee), you represent and warrant that you have such person’s consent to provide the personal information to us.

You may also unsubscribe from our e-mail database or opt-out of marketing communications by using the opt-out facilities provided in the communication.

Access and correction: You may be able to request details of the personal information that we hold about you. You may be able to request the correction of your personal information if you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.  

Complaints: If you wish to make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of the complaint. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. You may also have the right to contact a relevant authority.
